Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high-quality presentation and taste.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and providing correct change with precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and food prep tools, following proper procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records.
• Experience working in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.
