Grill Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking new team members for our kitchen. This is a prep heavy menu that requires a desire to learn many facets of the kitchen. Experience is ideal but all skills can be taught to the right candidates.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and quality, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed during all stages of food handling and preparation
• Passion and experience in Mediterranean cuisine or seafood is beneficial for the role
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production during busy service periods
• Handle food with care, adhering to proper hygiene practices and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings.
• Proven knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality and presentation
