Grill Cook/Prep Cook

Bumper 2 Burger is hiring Line Cooks to join our team in Richardson, TX!

Pay: $15–$18/hour — based on experience

Position: Grill Cook

What we’re looking for:

• Previous kitchen/line cook experience preferred
• Reliable and punctual
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Able to follow food safety and cleanliness standards
• Takes pride in preparing quality food

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook burgers, fries, sides, and other menu items.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation standards.
• Set up and stock the cooking station before each shift.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen, cooking equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
• Work efficiently during busy periods and high-volume shifts.
• Communicate clearly with other kitchen staff and front-of-house employees.
• Check food quality, presentation, and accuracy before serving.
• Properly store and label food and ingredients.
• Help with prep work, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties.
• Follow all restaurant policies and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
