Grind Room Technician

Description:

Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Grind Room Associate to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH The chosen candidate will be responsible for processing in-progress castings from cleaning operations through shipment.

The position offers a competitive wage of $20/hr - $22/hr, influenced by experience. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:

As a Grind Room Associate, your primary responsibilities will entail:

• Use bandsaw, chop saw, and angle grinders to remove excess material.
• Removing flashing, burrs, and minor defects using belt grinders, angle grinders, and die grinders
• Clean ground casting using shot-blast and tumble machines.
• Perform visual inspections and isolate defective pieces.
• Pack and Palletize finished castings for shipment.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
