Grinder/Machine Operator

Petronis Industries is a precision manufacturer since 1970. Manufacturing components for automotive, medical, food, aerospace and many other industries, we are seeking a Manual Surface Grinding team members with ISO 17025 experience.

Laphand/Grind Team Member

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

First Shift, 6am-3:30pm

*Overtime Available

Hourly Pay Starts at $25 or more/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Lapping Masters
• ISO 17025 Certification Proficient
• Master Certification Experience
• Manual Surface Grinding
• ID/OD/Jig Grinding
• Make offsets and adjustments to machines with minimum supervision
• Assemble and Grind as needed
• Maintain orderly, clean work area and adhere to safety procedures (safety glasses, closed toe shoes, OSHA compliance, use of proper guards)
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions and forms
• Competent in tight tolerances .0005+
• Use measuring equipment (i.e., Calipers, micrometers, Drop indicators)
• Courteous, friendly & positive approach to work
• Have Own Tools for Grinding Proficiency
• Organization and Detail Oriented

Experience Required

• Previous experience operating manual grinding machines

-Must be organized and detail oriented

• Working with tight tolerances, precision work
• Math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings
• Proficiency using hand tools
• 5+ Years in Machining/Manufacturing/ISO 17025
