Grinding Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines and hand grinders for metal work.
• Perform grinding, cutting, polishing, and deburring of metal components.
• Ensure proper surface finishing as per specifications.
• Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Replace grinding wheels/discs when required.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain and clean machines, tools, and work area.
• Handle materials safely during grinding and finishing operations.

Preferred Candidate

• ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• 13 years of experience as a Grinder Worker/Grinding Machine Operator.
• Hands-on experience with grinding, cutting, polishing, and deburring.
• Basic knowledge of grinding machines, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read basic work instructions/drawings.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and PPE.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop/industrial environment.
• Candidates with fabrication or welding experience will be preferred.
