Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring cost-effective procurement aligned with company goals.
• Monitor inventory management data through spreadsheets and ERP platforms to forecast needs and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Support sourcing initiatives by identifying new suppliers, evaluating vendor performance, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Execute direct negotiation procurement strategies to secure the best prices while maintaining quality standards.
• Analyze Excel data for purchasing trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain efficiencies to inform decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities within accounting software and purchasing management systems.

Skills

• Strong understanding of materials management, supply chain management, and inventory control principles.
• Experience with purchasing management systems that are technically supported within an organization’s infrastructure.
• Excellent vendor communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting supplier relationships.
• Skilled in spreadsheet applications such as Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and direct negotiation procurement strategies.
• Familiarity with accounting software used in procurement processes and vendor relationship management.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.50 per hour
