Duties

• Stock shelves with fresh produce, fresh meat products, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are properly labeled and faced for optimal presentation.
• Order products, check deliveries, manage stock rotation, and control inventory levels.
• Build attractive product displays, maintain aisle standards, and ensure correct pricing and shelf tags.
• Greet shoppers, answer questions, and solve complaints quickly to ensure repeat business.
• Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness rules on the sales floor and in the stockroom
• Operate the checkout register, process customer payments, scan items, bag purchases, and provide daily customer service

Requirements

• Previous grocey store experience or background is highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of manual handling including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for counting, pricing, and inventory calculations
• Knowledge of retail product knowledge, packaging procedures, and merchandising standards is beneficial
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols and organizational standards
• Dependability, punctuality & the ability to handle responsibility are required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
