Duties

• Stock shelves efficiently using manual handling techniques, ensuring products are organized, clean, and appealing to customers.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and move inventory throughout the store and warehouse areas.
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage product locations within the store.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory control.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning duties including merchandising displays, produce areas, and general store upkeep.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations on produce or retail items, and supporting sales initiatives.
• Support inventory management efforts through regular stock checks, organizing backstock areas, and participating in cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

Skills

• Proficiency with RF scanners for inventory tracking and product management.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks with a focus on safety practices.
• Strong organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining orderly storage areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are a plus!
• Knowledge of retail store operations including cashiering, customer service, packaging, and merchandising.
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques for heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Basic math skills for counting stock quantities, processing transactions, and managing inventory records.
• Experience in retail sales or grocery environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!

Pay: From $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
