Grocery Manager

The Grocery Team Leader leads the day-to-day operations of the Grocery Department, ensuring a well stocked and customer focused department. Responsibilities include supervising and developing Team Members, ordering products and supplies, executing merchandising initiatives, and consistently meeting operational and customer expectations. This leader promotes a culture of respect, inclusion, and accountability while coaching Team Members to grow and succeed.

What you'll do:

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Members through effective training, timely feedback, and ongoing development.
• Maintain a strong culture of safety while delivering exceptional guest experience through a passion for food, quality products, and outstanding service.
• Build a high-performing team by identifying strengths, developing future leaders, and making strategic staffing and scheduling decisions.
• Drive department sales and profitability by achieving performance goals, controlling labor costs, managing shrink, and identifying opportunities to improve the business.
• Partner with merchandising teams and maintain clear communication with Team Members to successfully execute promotions, merchandising initiatives, and accurate inventory processes.

What you bring:

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years retail work experience
• Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; Successful performance as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or other similar role; Demonstrated product knowledge relevant to department; Satisfactory performance and discipline record
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
