Grocery Stocker

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with packaged goods and other retail products, ensuring accurate placement and presentation.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and organize inventory safely.
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records in real-time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against purchase orders and managing inbound/outbound logistics.
• Support inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to product inquiries and helping customers locate items efficiently.

Skills

• Proficiency with RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse operations equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and merchandising.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques.
• Experience in retail store environments or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Multilingual or bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse team members and customers.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and managing stock levels accurately.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
