Bali Hai Cruises is looking for a warm, confident, and service-oriented GRO / Maître D’ to join our hospitality team.

As a GRO / Maître D’, you will be one of the key faces of our guest experience, ensuring our guests feel welcomed, well-assisted, and well taken care of throughout their journey with Bali Hai Cruises.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with a warm and professional approach.
• Manage guest seating and dining arrangements.
• Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant/dining operations.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with F&B, Service, Kitchen, and other operational teams to ensure excellent guest experiences.
• Assist in resolving guest concerns and service issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, grooming, and service.
• Build positive relationships with guests and provide personalized assistance when required.
• Support the team during busy operations, special events, and peak periods.
• Ensure the dining area and guest service areas are well-presented at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a GRO, Host/Hostess, Waiter/Waitress, or similar hospitality position.

• Experience in hotel, restaurant, resort, cruise, or other hospitality environments is preferred.

• Good command of English, both spoken and written.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, confident, and service-oriented personality.

• Able to handle guest requests and complaints calmly and professionally.

• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.

• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
