Groomer

Responsibilities:

• Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
• Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur
• Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with pet owners
• Maintain accurate records of grooming services provided

Experience:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
• Familiarity with animal handling and restraint techniques
• Understanding of basic veterinary care and health issues related to grooming
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Experience with kennel operations, dog training, or pet sitting is a plus

Skills:

• Animal handling: Ability to safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures
• Veterinary: Basic understanding of veterinary care and health issues related to grooming
• Dog handling: Experience working with dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Kennel: Familiarity with kennel operations and procedures
