The Role

Ground Worker will be part of the Ground Wave groundwork’s Team and report to the Director of the company.

Ground Wave was set up to provide exemplary work in the groundworks and landscaping industry for domestic and commercial customers. We ensure our work is to the highest standards and all projects are complete with the client’s full satisfaction.

Our passion and skill is translated into the work we do and the perfection we always aim to achieve. We work with high end designers to provide full garden remodelling using the finest materials. We also work closely with architects to complete ground works of any scale and specification.

Purpose of the role

Responsible for making sure that every aspect of the Landscaping & Groundworks jobs you are running, runs smoothly and efficiently. Supporting all staff members you are working with to ensure you deliver the highest quality Landscaping & Groundworks for the client.

Key responsibilities

• All aspects of Groundworks and Landscaping
• Drive company vehicle during work hours
• Plant driver
• Manage others on site
• Liase with clients
• Ensure all work is to the highest level
• Ensure the plant is safe at night
• Follow instruction
• Aware of budgets and where costs can be saved
• Hold keys and business bank cards
• Ensure enough work is achieved per day/week
• Find solutions when jobs aren’t working out, use your initiative
• Do it once no come backs
• Work out amounts of materials to give Olly to order with enough time
• Notify Olly of extra materials
• Check site at the end of the day – Swept clean, left as found and tools are safe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chichester PO20 7LB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
