Ground Worker

Location: Just outside Usk, Monmouthshire

We are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our small, established team.

This is a varied role suited to a good all-rounder with solid groundworks experience who is comfortable undertaking a range of tasks across different sites and projects.

The Role

Depending on your experience, duties may include:

• Driving and operating a digger
• Brickwork and blockwork
• Paving and general groundworks
• Minor drainage works
• Fencing
• Working alongside other members of our team to complete projects to a high standard
• Liaising professionally with customers and clients when required

We undertake projects nationwide, so applicants must be willing to travel to different locations as required. Occasional overnight stays away from home will be necessary, depending on the location and duration of the project.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, works well as part of a small team and is keen to develop and progress.

Requirements

• Previous groundworks experience is essential
• A current CSCS card is required
• Experience operating plant/machinery is advantageous
• CPCS, CITB or other relevant machine operator qualifications would be advantageous
• Fencing experience would be beneficial
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
• Own transport is essential due to our location

Our business is based just outside Usk, Monmouthshire, and free parking is available.

This is a full-time, permanent position and a great opportunity for an experienced groundworker looking to become part of a small team and develop their skills further.
