Ground Worker

Overview

Groundworks company looking for a Groundworker, someone with a positive and hardworking attitude, general labouring and General Groundworker, ideally someone looking for long term and essentially build you into the business in the long term. Can be someone skilled already or someone brand new an willing to learn. Right now it’s the best job in the world, in the winter, it’s not as nice but it is still great job and with a good, growing company.

Pay is a week in hand paid via CIS to begin with.

Please if you say you are going to come and work with me, please turn up, if not then let me know with plenty of time so I can give someone else the chance.

There are days where hand digging is required, groundworks is hard graft.

Please if you have a criminal past it is not a problem but don't wear it as a badge of honour and start telling customers about it within the opening conversation.

Generally there isn't drug testing, with that said, Id rather whoever comes along is relatively sensible.

Being a bit late from time to time is unavoidable but generally being 5 mins early is a good thing.

Looking for someone to start Monday 5/10/2026

This is generally how the days look timeframe wise. Leaving Hemel at 06:50 most days, on site 07:30-16:30 home for about 17:15ish. If it suits better, you can meet me/us on site and make your own way home too.

There will be a trial period also where we work out what works financially for both of us.

Ideally strong but not essential,
