Job Description

Tarlay Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Groundworker with kerb-laying experience to join our growing team.

We specialise in road surfacing and groundworks projects and are looking for someone with practical experience in preparing ground, laying kerbs and carrying out general groundwork duties to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, punctual, take pride in their work and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Laying kerbs, edgings and channels to the required levels and specifications.
• Preparing ground and foundations for kerb installation.
• Carrying out general groundworks and site preparation.
• Assisting with road surfacing and associated construction works.
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health and safety on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundworks and kerb laying is essential.
• Ability to read levels and work to site specifications.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
