Location : Union League Golf Club at Torresdale (3801 Grant Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114)

Description The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale’s Golf Course Maintenance Department is seeking individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a landscape maintenance atmosphere. The Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole par 3 course "The Landing", a swimming pool, tennis courts, and property landscaping. No experience in golf course maintenance is required. All job duties can be taught.

Skills And Requirements

• Physically fit and able to move quickly from place to place
• Capable of walking 5-7 miles per day at a brisk walking pace
• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Capable of following detailed instructions
• Willing to work in varying climatic conditions including rainy, cold, and hot weather
• Punctual and have reliable transportation
• Able to complete a criminal background

Hours

• Workdays vary 5:00 am – 5:00 pm. Your desired schedule will be considered.
• Full Time Seasonal = 40 hours per week or Part-Time Seasonal = 15 hours per week
• Seasonal employment mid-March – Thanksgiving
• Work holidays as needed. Most holidays pay 8 hours hours worked.
• 1 weekend morning – 4 hours (Saturday or Sunday) per week or every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday mornings)

Compensation

• $16.00-18.00 per hour depending on experience
• Uniform shirts, hat, raingear, work boots, and safety gear provided
• Employee meals are provided when the clubhouse kitchen is open
