Grounds Crew Member

• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

• Location/Work Type: On-site (W Innes Street, Salisbury, NC 28144)
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Requirements: Lift/move up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs; valid NC driver’s license & reliable transportation; pass background check & drug screen

What You’ll Do

• Groundskeeping & Lawn Care: Maintain campus appearance by removing trash/debris, mowing, edging, and power washing.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and vehicles as a key Grounds Crew Member and Landscape Maintenance Specialist.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Handle leaf removal, gutter cleaning, and snow clearing so you have steady work year-round.
• Moving & Setup: Assist with dorm flips, furniture delivery, and replacing broken furniture across campus.

What You Bring To The Team

• Ability to physical handle up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift.
• Reliable transportation and a valid NC Driver’s License.
• Strong work ethic and readiness to complete a background check and drug screening.
