Grounds Maintenance Officer

About the role

This is a rare entry-level opportunity to build a career in a dynamic aviation environment. You will receive training across maintenance and repair tasks supporting the airport's grounds, facilities and operations. Working as part of a hands-on team, your duties will be varied and practical.

Key responsibilities

• Airside maintenance
• Mowing, slashing, and spraying
• Machinery operation
• Line marking
• Pavement repairs
• Building maintenance
• Lighting repairs
• Emergency preparation and response

About you

• A proactive self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong work ethic and practical maintenance skills
• High attention to detail
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Clear communication skills and a commitment to high standards
• Genuine interest in learning, development and building a career in aviation
• Able to meet security requirements, including passing a background check to obtain an ASIC card
• Able to complete a radio operator's licence
