Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team working out of our Bicester depot, This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of various outdoor spaces across our client sites. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of grounds care.

We are a friendly team and would require you to have a basic understanding of grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning and weeding. You would need to have good communication skills and be capable of working along side other team members, you would meet at the depot every morning and then head out to your jobs that day making sure they are all carried out to a high standard.

If you have any experience working as a gardener, landscaper or as a grounds maintenance operative we would love to hear from you.

There may be opportunities for progression as and when roles become available and we carry out various types of training both in house and external. We are keen on staff retention.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns and gardens.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Remove Litter and debris from site to make them look clean and inviting
• Requirements
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Good physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks outdoors.

• Hold a full UK driving license
• Be able to make your own way to the and from the depot each day.

You would be working on a variety of sites from factories, hospitals, hotels and schools, so successful candidates will require a full CRB check.

Pension plan

Monday to Friday working hours with weekends/bank holidays as overtime

Pay: From £28,700.00 per year
