Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscaping, Horticulture, Environmental Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in grounds maintenance or a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, maintenance equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the park grounds maintenance crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to crew members, fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with other park departments to ensure seamless operations, participating in park planning meetings and offering input on landscaping and maintenance needs.
• Oversee routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, irrigation, and pest control to maintain the park's aesthetic and functional quality.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Manage schedules, allocate resources, and monitor the performance of the maintenance team.
• Inspect park grounds regularly to identify areas needing improvement and address issues promptly.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are properly used and stored.
