Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is the point person for greens-keeping and grounds maintenance. He is responsible for overseeing the aesthetics, safety and functionality of the general landscape development and maintenance, including acquisition and propagation of suitable plant species.

This role involves managing a team of groundskeepers, scheduling maintenance tasks, managing landscaping inventory and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, preferably specialized in Horticulture or related field.
• At least three(3) years work experience in grounds/landscape maintenance in commercial or leisure establishments and with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Has excellent leadership skills to manage a team.
• Has an eye for details and aesthetics.
• Knowledgeable of plants and sustainable landscaping practices.
• Works quickly and efficiently.
• Technical understanding and proficiency is a must.
• Computer literate.
