Duties

• Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, and planting to keep grounds healthy and attractive
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, power trimmers, aerators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent overwatering or drought stress
• Conduct athletic field groundskeeping tasks such as lining fields, repairing turf damage, and ensuring safe playing surfaces
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and use of hand tools for landscaping projects
• Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds effectively
• Perform routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf management; golf course groundskeeping experience is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and pest management techniques
• Ability to operate power tools safely including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Physical ability to perform manual labor involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance routines to ensure longevity and optimal performance of tools and machinery
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or grounds maintenance equipment as needed
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining safe and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
