Groundskeeper

Fixed-Term Position/Full time

Start Date: 12 October 2026 - 4 December 2026 (with the possibility of being extended longer)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover staff sick leave.

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and general upkeep of our grounds and outdoor facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing and edging
• General gardening and weed control
• Litter collection and rubbish removal
• Maintaining outdoor areas, pathways, and sports fields
• Basic maintenance and repairs as required
• Setting up and packing down equipment for school or community events
• Ensuring grounds are presented to a high standard and are safe for all users

What We're Looking For:

• A positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good level of physical fitness
• Previous groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, or maintenance experience would be advantageous
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• A commitment to health and safety practices
