Groundskeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance our office location as well as 6 locations in the area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping, turf management, grounds maintenance tasks, and handyman projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors using a range of tools and equipment while contributing to the upkeep of high-quality landscapes.

Duties

• Provide oversight on our office location as well as 6 other properties in the vicinity
• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and visually appealing
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintain properties by aerating, topdressing, seeding, tree removal, and applying pesticides responsibly
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, chainsaws, and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials such as soil, mulch, sod, or equipment parts to support ongoing maintenance projects
• Inspect and maintain groundskeeping equipment including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Be available for snow removal
• Provide handyman services for projects and fixes

Requirements

• Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued
• Knowledge of irrigation systems management and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to operate power tools safely following proper safety procedures
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of landscape care and safety

Salary is negotiable based on experience. Benefits around 25 hours per week working, 10 hours planning and paperwork.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
