Groundsman

Green's Tree Service is a family-owned tree care company serving Marin County. We're looking for a reliable Groundsman to join our crew.

Position: This role is currently part-time, with the goal of moving to full-time as soon as possible for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Assist climbers and crew with pruning and removal operations
• Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and other ground equipment
• Drag, chip, and haul brush and debris
• Help with rigging, rope work, and site cleanup
• Maintain a safe work site and follow all safety protocols
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and equipment

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience preferred, ideally in tree work or a related trade (landscaping, construction, utility work, etc.)
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and take direction from crew lead/climber

Preferred (not required):

• Chainsaw experience
• Familiarity with rigging and rope systems
• CDL
