Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removal and pruning projects, ensuring proper use of arborist rigging techniques and safety protocols.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access trees at various heights for trimming or removal.
• Support the setup and dismantling of rigging systems for complex tree work, adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct ground-based tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general yard cleanup to support overall project efficiency.
• Use tools like chainsaws responsibly for cutting branches or trees, following strict safety procedures.
• Help with planting, transplanting, and caring for trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, hand tools, and safety gear in excellent condition for daily use.

Experience

• Previous outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or tree care is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) mapping tools is a plus for understanding site layouts and planning work zones.
• Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and plant pruning care will enhance your effectiveness on the team.
• Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment demonstrates your ability to work safely at heights.
• Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments is crucial for maintaining a secure job site.
• Growing experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care will support your ability to contribute across multiple project areas.
