Groundsperson

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Grounds Person to join Zeagold’s free-range poultry farm. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a practical mindset and is confident tackling general farm and maintenance tasks.

We’re looking for someone reliable and capable who can get stuck in and help keep the farm, grounds and equipment running smoothly.

About the Role

• Carry out general farm maintenance and repairs
• Mow lawns and maintain the farm grounds
• Complete fencing, weed spraying and general upkeep
• Operate tractors and other heavy machinery
• Load and unload bird crates and assist with farm operations
• Troubleshoot and fix general maintenance issues as they arise

What We’re Looking For / About You

• Previous farming, agricultural, grounds or general maintenance experience
• Confident operating tractors and other heavy machinery
• Practical, hands-on and mechanically minded
• Able to identify problems and come up with practical solutions
• Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working independently
• Willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed

What We Offer

• Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday roster - 7:30am–4:00pm
