Role Description The Groundworker role is a full-time, on-site position located in St Louis, MO. This role involves performing general groundworks, including site preparation, digging, trenching, and assisting with installation of landscaping and outdoor infrastructure. Groundworkers will maintain trees and landscaped areas, operate basic hand and power tools, and support the safe movement of materials around job sites. Daily tasks include following site plans and supervisor instructions, adhering to health and safety requirements, and working as part of a crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. The position may also involve routine site clean-up, basic maintenance of equipment, and occasional interaction with clients or site stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in groundworks, including site preparation and basic construction-related tasks.
• Skills in landscaping, including maintenance of outdoor spaces and care of Trees and plantings.
• Ability to safely use and maintain hand tools and light machinery, with a strong focus on workplace safety.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in outdoor and varied weather conditions.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in grounds maintenance, construction, or landscaping is preferred.
