groundworker/dumper driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Groundworker/Dumper Driver

Edinburgh & Glasgow

• CSCS Card – essential
• Kerbing, slabbing, concreting
• Excavation and reinstatement
• Strong awareness of site safety and safe working practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate dumper trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials around construction sites
• Assist with groundworks, including site clearance, excavation, and levelling tasks
• Maintain and carry out basic checks on mechanical equipment, including excavators and dumpers
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
• Support the team with additional site duties as required
• Ensure all machinery is kept clean and in good working order after use

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dumper driver or in a similar groundworking role
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction machinery and equipment
• Valid driving licence preffered
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good organisational skills and attention to safety procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions accurately

hourly rate dependent on experience and certification
