The Group Accountant will be responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards within the retail industry. This role, based in Subang Jaya, will involve managing financial processes and providing accurate financial insights.

Description

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes effectively.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the group.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of queries.

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Open to fully audit candidates
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
