About Us

St Mary’s Health Services was founded in 2010 with the goal of providing people with disabilities high-quality, flexible support options delivered with a compassionate approach.

Through our strong standards of care, we have built a loyal client base and experienced significant growth, largely driven by positive word of mouth and recommendations from current participants and families.

We offer a wide range of supports, including:

  • Adult day services in our modern centre
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL)
  • Short-Term Accommodation (STA)
  • In-home and community-based support
  • School Holiday Programs

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers for casual opportunities across our group-based day program and group home settings in the South-East suburbs.

Shifts available Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm. Sleepover shifts also available.

  • Promote independence, personal growth, and skill development through active support
  • Assist participants to build confidence and engage meaningfully within their community
  • Implement structured programs and identify opportunities for learning and development
  • Support participants to develop social connections and increase community participation
  • Follow Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and organisational procedures
  • Complete accurate documentation, including shift notes and incident reports

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability (or equivalent qualification)
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate
  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, strengths, and goals of people with disabilities

Successful candidates will be required to complete all relevant compliance checks, including a National Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and, where applicable, an International Criminal History Check (for those who have lived outside Australia for 12 months or more in the past 10 years).

To be considered, applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
