Group Class Instructor (substitute)

About the role

Love leading group fitness classes and inspiring others to move? HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center in Westlake, TX.

This flexible substitute instructor role offers the opportunity to teach on an as-needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and helping create a positive, energetic experience for participants.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $45 - $50/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
