Group Controlling & Reporting Manager - Hamburg, Germany

Global Accounting Network is supporting our client, a well-established international services business, in the search for an experienced Group Controlling & Reporting Manager to join an international finance function.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining FP&A, management reporting, financial analysis, data quality and finance transformation, with the opportunity to act as Deputy to the Head of Controlling.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and develop management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and planning.
• Analyze variances, trends, risks and business drivers, providing clear recommendations to management.
• Ensure high-quality, consistent and traceable financial data and KPIs.
• Build and maintain complex Excel models and Power Query solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting and finance processes.
• Prepare management presentations, decision papers and business cases for senior leadership and ExCom.
• Support group-wide FP&A, scenario planning and cost optimisation.
• Partner with Data & Analytics on BI, reporting and data solutions.
• Act as Deputy to the Head of Controlling and support finance transformation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 8–12 years' experience in Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering and/or Financial Reporting.
• Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills.
• Experience with ERP, reporting or consolidation systems; Tagetik is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, data modelling and/or Databricks is a plus.
• Experience in complex, international or transaction-driven environments.
• Strong ability to communicate financial insights to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Excellent German and English .
