Group Exercise & Water Aerobics Instructor – 55+ Community

Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Pay: $31.00 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time

Triton Property Management is seeking an energetic, dependable, and engaging Group Exercise & Water Aerobics Instructor to lead indoor exercise and water aerobics classes for residents of an active 55+ community in West Palm Beach.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading group fitness classes and be comfortable working with older adults of varying fitness and mobility levels. Experience with both indoor group exercise and aquatic fitness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and engaging indoor group exercise and water aerobics classes.
• Provide clear instruction and demonstrate proper exercise techniques.
• Adapt exercises to accommodate varying fitness, mobility, and ability levels.
• Promote safe participation during both indoor and aquatic classes.
• Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for residents.
• Monitor participants during classes and encourage proper form and safe exercise practices.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes.
• Communicate professionally with residents and community management.

Qualifications

• Previous group fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Water aerobics or aquatic fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Experience working with adults age 55+ or active adult communities is highly desirable.
• Current group fitness and/or aquatic fitness certification from a recognized organization preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable leading groups with varying fitness levels.

Compensation

$31.00 per hour
