Group Facilitator (LMFT or LCSW) — Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Location: Agoura Hills, CA
Compensation: $125–$150 per group session. This rate covers facilitation of the 75-minute group and completion of the corresponding group note in KIPU.

About the role

Moonglade Recovery Community is seeking a licensed clinician to facilitate therapeutic groups for adults receiving substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. The facilitator will lead a structured, clinically appropriate 75-minute group and complete clear, timely documentation in KIPU.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 75-minute group therapy sessions for clients in SUD treatment.
• Use evidence-based approaches suited to the group and clients’ treatment needs.
• Encourage therapeutic participation, emotional safety, and respectful peer interaction.
• Complete the group note and related documentation in KIPU after each session.
• Coordinate with the treatment team as needed regarding group participation or clinical concerns.

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California LMFT or LCSW license in good standing.
• Current general liability (GL) and professional liability (PL) insurance.
• Experience working with people receiving treatment for substance use disorders.
• Experience facilitating therapy groups.
• Experience using evidence-based therapy practices, such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, or relapse-prevention approaches.
• Ability to complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in an electronic medical record; KIPU experience is a plus.
