Group Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Group Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the Group, ensuring accurate reporting, financial compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role manages internal and external financial obligations, leads budgeting and forecasting, and provides financial insights to support business decision-making.

The Group Finance Manager will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly management reports with detailed analytical review across all subsidiaries.
• Manage the Group’s internal and external statutory financial reporting obligations, including audits and taxation compliance.
• Ensure finance ledgers are maintained accurately and in a timely manner, structured for internal reporting needs.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the Group, including annual plans and six-month reforecasts.
• Monitor and manage the Group’s profitability and cash flow, providing financial foresight to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Work with finance heads of subsidiaries to ensure proper invoicing, debtor, and creditor management.
• Approve payments within the Group in line with financial policies.
• Lead and manage the Finance team, fostering engagement, efficiency, and professional growth.
• Work with local teams to formulate business strategies and drive financial growth.
• Review and implement finance systems, policies, and procedures to enhance financial practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• A good knowledge of taxation and transfer pricing principles.
• Strong bilingual skills in English and local language.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and multi-sheet formulas.
• Experience in global multinational companies with be an added advantage.
