Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller | London

I’m working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join a growing, internationally listed business undergoing significant development.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll take ownership of group financial control, reporting and consolidation, while bringing key finance functions in-house and building a robust finance infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead group reporting, consolidation and balance sheet management.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit and listed-company compliance.
• Implement a new accounting system and strengthen financial controls.
• Own cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
• Build and develop the finance function as the business grows.
• Partner with the CFO on wider strategic and commercial initiatives.

What we're looking for:

• ACA, ACCA, CA or CPA qualified.
• Proven Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller experience.
• Strong technical accounting, consolidation and reporting expertise.
• Experience implementing systems and building processes from the ground up.
• A hands-on, autonomous individual comfortable operating in a changing environment.

Experience within a listed, international or resources business would be advantageous.

Start date: Ideally Q1 2027.
