What they need
Company Description
At MÙA, we believe the best hospitality is rooted in season, craft, and community. The word mùa
itself means "season" in Vietnamese, and it shapes everything we do. From our craft sake to our kitchens, we build experiences that honour Vietnamese ingredients, celebrate the people who grow and make them, and treat sustainability not as a slogan but as a daily practice.
We're a growing group of 3 concepts across Ho Chi Minh, Hoi An and Dalat, each with its own character but united by a shared belief that food should mean something to the guest at the table, to the team behind the pass and to the community around us. We're proud of what we've built, and we're only getting started.
Role Description
We're looking for a Group Head Chef to be the driving force in our kitchens. The person who takes our culinary vision and makes it real, consistent, and excellent across every MÙA venue, every service.
Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll translate direction into execution: holding the line on standards, developing our venue chefs into leaders, and being the hands-on presence in the kitchens that keeps quality high and teams strong. This is a role for a chef who leads from the pass, not the desk. Someone who wants to build kitchens people are proud to work in.
What You'll Do
- Own culinary standards, consistency, and food safety across every MÙA venue
- Lead, mentor, and develop our venue chefs, building a kitchen culture where people grow and stay
- Set the operational standard by example. A commanding, hands-on presence across our kitchens and strong SOP’s for every venue
- Partner with the Culinary Director to bring menus and concepts to life, contributing your own craft and judgement to what we serve
- Own kitchen performance, food cost, labour, and supplier relationships at group scale
- Drive the people agenda in the kitchen — recruitment, development, retention, and succession
- Champion a kitchen culture built on respect, craft, and pride and hold the whole group to it
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading kitchens at a senior level across multiple venues
- The authority and presence to own kitchens and command respect from strong teams
- A genuine passion for developing people, not just plates
- Strong commercial instincts — you own the numbers as confidently as the cooking
- A belief that values only matter when they show up in the daily work
What We Offer
- Full ownership of the culinary operation of one of Vietnam's most distinctive hospitality groups
- The room to build kitchens your way and develop the teams behind them
- A group that cares about craft, community, and doing things properly
- A competitive senior-level package, negotiable based on experience and track record
If you're a chef who leads with conviction who owns the kitchen, grows the people in it, and takes pride in doing things properly — we'd love to hear from you.
