About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Head of Human Resources to lead the Group's HR function, oversee HR teams and Managers, establish effective HR systems, and provide strategic people advisory to senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the financial services industry and a proven ability to build and support high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group HR function and HR teams.
• Develop and implement Group-wide HR policies, systems, and structures.
• Advise the MD/CEO on workforce, organisational, and employee matters.
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and retention.
• Develop and implement people strategies that attract, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing sales teams.
• Partner with business leaders to improve sales team productivity, performance, accountability, and achievement of business targets.
• Lead training, CPD, succession planning, and employee development.
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary matters, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.
• Drive organisational effectiveness, employee productivity, and a high-performance culture.
• Provide regular HR reports and identify people-related risks and solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years' professional HR experience.
• Previous experience as Head of HR, Group Head HR, HR Director, or equivalent.
• Experience working within the financial services/finance industry.
• Proven experience building, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams, particularly within a target-driven environment.
• Experience leading HR Managers and teams.
• Experience developing HR structures, policies, and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience across recruitment, performance management, employee relations, L&D, compensation, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Relevant degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Relevant professional HR certifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
• Experience advising senior management/MD/CEO.
• Must currently reside in Lagos and be willing to permanently relocate to Abuja.

Compensation & Benefits

Probation: ₦1,000,000–₦1,200,000 monthly + official vehicle + relocation support.

Upon Confirmation: ₦1,500,000 monthly

Pay: ₦1,200,000.00 - ₦1,500,000.00 per month
