The Group generates over EUR 1.3 billion in yearly revenues and treats over 6 million patients every year. Founded in 2017, the Group has grown into a leading dentistry company in the European dental services market, supporting local dentists and dental teams in delivering modern, high-quality dentistry services for the benefit of patients, dentists and colleagues. Colosseum Dental is backed by the Jacobs family through Jacobs Capital.

The Role

We are seeking a strategic, technically credible and hands-on Group Head Data & Analytics, reporting directly to the Group CIO, to own the Group's data, analytics, and reporting agenda, and to build a Data & BI Centre of Excellence that turns data into a group-wide strategic asset. You will define and execute our Data & BI strategy, including our growing use of AI and machine learning, own the architecture and governance behind it, and act as a trusted advisor to Group and Country leadership on how data drives financial performance and scalable growth across our 11 markets.

What You Will Own

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Define and execute a group-wide Data & BI strategy aligned with business objectives and country-specific requirements

  • Act as a business partner to Group Finance / Operations and to Country Management, embedding analytics into forecasting, budgeting, and performance management

  • Position the Data & BI team as a central Centre of Excellence, providing advisory services across Group and Country departments

  • Maintain metadata standards, ensure the integrity of Group KPIs, and uphold the semantic layer for reliable strategic decision-making

  • Champion self-service reporting and dashboarding for business users across Group and Country functions, reducing reliance on ad-hoc reporting requests

  • Define the Group's applied AI/ML agenda related to predictive and prescriptive analytics, forecasting, and decision-support models

Platform Architecture & Operations

  • Lead the design, evolution, and scalability of the data platform, ensuring it is future-proof and capable of integrating all valid systems of record

  • Champion the migration of the current technology stack to the new Databricks environment

  • Ensure stable, sustainable operation of all BI applications and services against agreed SLAs

  • Provide the technical know-how and capacity for complex projects, ensuring professional engineering and harmonised processes group-wide

  • Lead the overall Group business application data ownership, together with the group IT teams

People Leadership

  • Hire, lead, and coach a high-performing team of 4–6 employees in a goal-oriented, appreciative manner, with a focus on succession planning and growth

  • Build a culture of trust, high performance, and knowledge sharing, keeping technical and methodological expertise current

What You Bring (Non-negotiable)

  • 8+ years of experience in data & analytics or business intelligence leadership, including 5+ years hands-on building or operating enterprise data platforms, plus demonstrated people management experience

  • Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise data architecture and governance model (semantic layer / single source of truth, metadata standards, KPI integrity) at group and/or multi-entity scale

  • Strong track record partnering with Finance and Operations to embed analytics into forecasting, budgeting, and performance management

  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cost centre budgets, and to translate technical concepts for executive stakeholders

  • Hands-on fluency with modern BI and data platform tooling (e.g. Databricks, or equivalent enterprise-scale stack)

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in multi-country/multi-entity organisations, ideally with a distributed operating model

  • Background in healthcare, dental, or another operationally intensive, multi-site services sector

  • Hands-on experience building or scaling an operational/business-performance analytics function alongside a core BI/data platform remit

  • Familiarity with European data privacy and reporting regulation relevant to group-wide analytics (e.g. GDPR and local adaptations)

You as a Person

  • Entrepreneurial thinker, comfortable acting independently and autonomously in alignment with Group strategy

  • Assertive communicator able to win over managers, peers, and employees for new ideas

  • Thrives with short decision paths and a high pace of change

  • A dedicated team player who excels in a matrix organisation, balancing Group standards with local country needs

What We Offer

  • An opportunity to grow and build a modern and scalable data & analytics ecosystem across 11 countries • A modern technology environment with an appetite for long-term investments

  • Competitive compensation commensurate with seniority and market

  • A purpose-driven organisation: Our mission is to provide modern, quality dentistry services for the benefit of patients, dentists, colleagues and shareholders, striving for continuous growth and excellence.
