Group Home Assistant Managers Residential Program Manalapan, Manahawkin, Piscataway & Toms River NJ, location: New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation. It serves infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities and offers specialized facilities, programs, and support throughout New Jersey. We are recruiting group home assistant managers in Manalapan, Manahawkin, Piscataway & Toms River, NJ. The Assistant Manager trains and supervises staff, assists with assessments, and attends medical appointments. The qualified candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills, a responsible attitude, and reliability. The ability to help with client care and transportation is required. The qualified candidate will share on-call responsibilities with the group home Manager and provide effective leadership and direction to staff in the manager's absence.

Job Requirements

• An Associate's degree is preferred
• A valid driver's license in good standing and insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
• Experience working as a supervisor is preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities

Work Schedules Manalapan (GH 4) Sun. 9am-5p, Mon.-Wed. 2pm-10pm; Thurs. 1pm-9pm

Manahawkin (GH 17) Tues. - Fri 2pm-10pm, & Sat 9am -5pm

Piscataway (GH 5) Sun. - Thurs 2:30pm -10:30pm

Toms River (GH 11) Sun. -Fri. 2pm-10pm & Sat. 9am -5pm
