Group Home Direct Care Service Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to provide supervision, guidance, and support to youth living in a residential group home. Duties

• Provide direct supervision and care for youth in a residential setting.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and security of all residents.
• Build positive, professional relationships with youth through mentoring and support.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, hygiene, chores, and transportation.
• Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and medication records.
• Transport youth to school, appointments, recreational activities, and other approved destinations.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and treatment planning.
• Communicate effectively with house managers, case managers, and other professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with at-risk youth or in a residential care setting is required.
• Valid Arizona driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks, drug screening, and any required clearances.
• Ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
