Group Home Director-DDD

**MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS DDD GROUP HOME DIRECTOR**

Group home Director Responsibilities:

Description:Oversee operations in all group homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Work within a team which includes one assistant Director, all group home managers, a behavioral building plan specialist.

Ensure high quality services are being provided by the caregiver staff in each home around the clock.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Train new house managers and caregiver staff in specific group homes

· Ensure proper staff to individual ratios, and shift coverage in homes always, with assistance from house managers

· Monitor home environments for safety, cleanliness, orderliness, and purchasing needs

· Monitor home environments for maintenance needs, and coordinate maintenance services

· Monitor staff interactions with individuals served to ensure interpersonal relations are appropriate, but still fun, happy, safe, friendly, positive, and supportive always

· Monitor activities in homes to ensure attention to schedule for specific activities, such as mealtime and medication pass

· Coordinate with professional staff to ensure all staff are qualified and thoroughly trained to work in assigned homes

· Maintain supportive and informative interactions with family members of individuals served

· Adherence to established budgets and related financial systems for safeguarding individuals' and company's funds

· Oversee transportation services to and from homes, including usage and maintenance of a small fleet of vehicles (vans)

· With assistance from group home managers, ensure homes are properly supplied with food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, recreational supplies, and other items, as needed

· Implement progressive corrective action, as needed

· Employee evaluations and related bonus recommendations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
