We are hiring Group Home Managers in Edison, and Manalapan NJ. The qualified candidate will supervise all aspects of the group home operations (i.e., staff supervision, on-call, and spot checks)

Job Responsibilities Of a Group Home Manager

• Supervise all aspects of the group home.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings and training.
• Conduct interviews and observations, provide feedback, and complete employee evaluations.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the group home Assistant Manager.
• Uphold agency and licensing regulations.
• Responsible for creating staff scheduling
• Assist with scheduling doctors' appointments.
• Responsible for program and client finances
• Assists and supervises in activities of daily living skills
• Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
• Light housekeeping
• Assist with transportation
• Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
• Data entry using Therap (EHR)
• Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.

Job Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience as a supervisor and working with people with disabilities
• A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Hours Per Work Week: 40

Weekly Work Schedule Edison (GH2) Mon. 10a-6p, Tues. 12p-8p, Wed. 9a-5p, Thurs. 12p-8p and Fri. 8a-4p

Edison (GH12) Mon 12p-8p, Tues 10a-6p, Wed 12p-8p, Thurs 10a-6p and Fri 9a-5p

Manalapan (GH4) Mon. 9a-5p, Tues. 10a-6p, Wed. 9a-5p, Thurs. 10a-6p & Fri 9a-5p

Other shifts are available at this location.
