Group Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cluster Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations across multiple hotels, hostels, resorts, or hospitality properties. The Cluster Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining consistent cleanliness, room standards, service quality, productivity, staffing, inventory, cost control, and housekeeping SOPs across the assigned portfolio. This role requires a hands-on hospitality leader who can manage multiple properties, develop housekeeping teams, implement operational standards, and work closely with General Managers, Hotel Managers, Front Office, Engineering, Operations, and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping operations across multiple properties
• Establish and maintain consistent housekeeping SOPs, cleaning standards, inspection procedures, and service quality standards
• Conduct regular property visits and operational inspections
• Ensure guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, staff areas, and facilities meet company standards
• Monitor room readiness and coordinate closely with Front Office and Operations
• Develop and implement housekeeping quality-control systems and conduct regular room inspections, public-area inspections, and housekeeping audits
• Lead, coach, and develop housekeeping managers, supervisors, room attendants, public-area attendants, and support teams
• Manage housekeeping labor costs and departmental operating expenses
• Establish effective controls for linen, towels, amenities, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping supplies
• Work closely with General Managers, Hotel Managers, Front Office, Engineering, Maintenance, Revenue Management, HR, Procurement, and Finance

About you

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of housekeeping experience within hotels, resorts, hostels, or similar hospitality operations
• Previous experience as Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, Cluster Housekeeping Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or similar senior housekeeping position
• Proven experience managing multiple properties or large-scale housekeeping operations
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, room inspection, cleaning standards, linen management, and departmental controls
• Experience managing large and multicultural housekeeping teams
• Strong understanding of labor productivity, staffing ratios, cost control, and departmental budgeting
• Experience developing and implementing housekeeping SOPs and quality standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel between properties as required
