Group Leader / Assistant Group Leader

Our organization seeks a Counselor to provide individual and group support to students. You will be responsible for advising and empowering children through emotions and decisions by exploring options, offering solutions and providing coaching. As a counselor, we expect you to be knowledgeable in various fields to offer versatile experience. We want to see good listening skills, problem solving abilities, empathy and honesty. Responsibilities:

• Supervises children and ensures their safety, development, growth, and general well-being.
• Engage with children and develop positive, appropriate, supportive relationships
• Prepare activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age of the students
• Adhere to, and act in accordance, with all policies
• Communicate, through patience and clarity, with children and co-workers
• Assists in maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports, cleaning reports and daily attendance

Ability to commute/relocate:

License/Certification:

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
