- Supporting month-end activities, including General Ledger balances, journals and superannuation integration
- Managing payroll integration with financial software and accounting systems
- Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and reporting requirements
- Preparing regular payroll reports and providing reliable information to senior management
- Partnering with management to communicate payroll policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems and reporting
- Working collaboratively across the organisation to support broader business objectives.

You will be an experienced payroll professional who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional attention to detail and a practical, service-focused approach.
You will ideally bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing or delivering an end-to-end payroll function
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG and employee entitlements
- Experience with payroll reconciliations, month-end processes and reporting
- Strong systems capability, with CHRIS21 experience highly regarded
- Confidence working with Excel, databases and financial systems
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different levels of an organisation
- A commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
A relevant tertiary qualification may be advantageous, however practical payroll experience and demonstrated capability will be highly valued.
