**ABOUT THE ROLE:**This is a senior role at the core of the agency's media planning and buying output to clients.  It holds the ultimate responsibility for the overall quality of media planning and buying work delivered for clients across its portfolio of accounts, and for the quality of client service.

You will focus on delivering outstanding responses to client media briefs and crafting insightful and effective media plans that reflect insights, incorporate innovation and the latest media market insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Market-leading, digitally ambitious Media Work: high-quality and future-focused media responses, reflecting the agency's ambition to be the leading media agency in Aotearoa.

• Client leadership: Day-to-day leadership of relationships with clients.
• Input into new business: Supporting leadership with relevant new business opportunities.
• Engaged & Motivated Team: Team inspiration and media planning skills development

**ABOUT YOU:**As well as significant experience in a similar role, you will need:

• The ability to actively listen and respond to client needs, build effective personal relationships and ensure the agency exceeds the client's needs
• The ability to plan modern media effectively and independently
• Confidence in channel planning as well as media planning
• Confidence and competency leading clients and team on effective use of digital media
• The ability to think strategically to solve client's problems
• The ability to lead individuals and teams to a higher level of performance
• The ability to make change and deliver to needs pro-actively rather than needing to be prompted or asked
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• The ability to plan and organise yourself and others to achieve outcomes that are on time, on budget and meet client's needs.
• The ability to understand and respond to the commercial implications of your actions and the team's actions.
